If God is gold and white, and Satan is blood and midnight,

What is Fate?

The gap between good and evil,

unbiased,

wholly neutral.

If green is envy, rose is adoration,

purple is luxury, orange is youthful,

What color is Fate?

Fate is neither warm nor cool.

It does not hate, it does not lust.

Fate does not care.

When we see color, we see wavelengths the object chooses

to reflect back and present to us,

the shade which best defines it and what it represents.

But Fate is nothing at all,

and if it is nothing,

it’s value is not self-ascribed,

but instead is determined by the beholder.

Fate does not pick favorites.

Rather than reflecting just one shade,

it reflects only what is placed before it.

Where God is gold and white, and Satan is blood and midnight,

Fate

is a mirror.
